Family Support

Jan Morrison- Community Liasion Officer
Jan.jpg

Hi, my name is Jan and I have been working at Burnt Oak Children's Centre as a Community Liaison Officer for over five years. I work with children aged 0-5 and parents, I can give help and advice on various things within the home.

You will find me having fun with the children in our Stay & Play sessions here at Burnt Oak or at St Barnabas on a Thursday. I have trained in "Understanding your Child" and I like to cook and enjoy teaching parents to cook a healthy meal for four on a budget. I will also be in some of the crèches that we run so parents can learn new skills.

Samme Perrin- Early Help Worker
Hi my name is Samme and I'm an Early Help Worker for Burnt Oak Children's Centre. I have been working with children under five for over 10 years in various early years providers. I started working at Burnt Oak Children's Centre in November 2011 as a community liaison officer but I now offer more one to one work with families.
I have a degree in Early Years and I am a trained facilitator of the Freedom programme for women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse. I offer an outreach service to families who need a little bit of extra support around children's development and the home environment.
